400 g pack of spaghetti 1/4 kilo lean ground beef 1 pack or can of tomato sauce 1 tablespoon of tomato paste 1 onion 3/4 cup of red wine OR water 1 cup of beef stock OR 1 cup water with 2 beef broth cubes 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Chop the onion finely. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion for 5 minutes over medium heat, until the onion appears translucent. Turn up to high heat, and add the beef. Brown and stir the meat so that it cooks evenly. Add the broth, red wine, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, covered, for 30-45 minutes. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water until al dente. Drain. Place on a dish and top with the bolognaise sauce.
