What made you decide to get fit this year?

It's 2012, and we all know what the Mayans say about this year.. 
I'm just curious to know.. what made you motivated? why this year and not the last?
Let me just share mine, kahit mababaw lang haha
1. I started the year with a gym membership, just to see if I can grow some muscles, and just so I could go to the beach wearing a swimsuit (no cover-ups) for the FIRST TIME haha
2. Nauumay na ko sa mga pagkaing hindi masarap, sobrang oily at yung pangkaraniwan lang. Since I could somehow afford na rin naman dahil may work na ko at hindi na estudyante, gusto ko namang maging adventurous when it comes to food.

Considering I have zero time between school and work, this year, it''s more about being able to take care of my body and sleeping when its time to sleep and of course eating right. It''s tempting to snack, but I realized that it was all a state of mind. So this year, what''s motivating me to stay healthy are the two things that are keeping me alive - working with BelleToday and studying as a Psychologist. I plan to do this by: 1. Cutting back on fast food (i used to have it twice a week whenever i had class) 2. Avoiding clubs / bars as much as possible (reduce to twice a month instead of every single weekend) 3. Reduce my alcohol intake 4. Getting enough sleep when I''m really tired

1 - a lot of people is telling me that I got FAT 2 - It's becoming a burden... I feel very tired easily... 3 - Enrolled in GYM so no backing out! (panindigan na!) 4 - most of my clothes doesn't fit me anymore which makes me feel really sad! 5 - feel good and gain my confidence back! Don' want to look in the mirror and feel like I'm losyang!!! |

Reasons to get fit this year 1. To be fit for my ministry in our church. 2. So I can wear a fabulous dress for my graduation in my master's degree 3. In preparation for my wedding this year, yes! after 11 years wohoh 4. I want to stay fit for my future family. 5. I want to feel good about myself hehe. |

The wedding ahahaha, though next year pa naman. That really excites me! ahahaha =D Seriously, here''s my list: 1. Honor God and be a good steward of this life He gave me. 2. My job as a dietitian 3.. People I''m helping with their diet - Kia and Mira specifically :) 4. My bf- he''s into an active lifestyle 5. My self - I love my self and I believe that I can show my love ones that i love and care for them by starting it with me. Long life! 6. Eat, Eat, and Eat... Cook more and share more! 7. Praying for new kitchen equipments and tools :) yay!
