I understand that late nights come easy for such a busy student like yourself, but I really hope that you find time to rest as well. As a student, whatever information you need to study and retain is best processed when we get plenty of rest. :)

Also, if you're staying up late and are looking for something to munch on, it could also just be the stress. Keep water near you, or like what Victoria suggested, have tea by your side. It will keep you awake without you getting heavy. The trips to the bathroom should be enough for exercise right? hehehe!

Good luck!

Citrus fruit as they contain vitamine C, which is a natural stimulant. A green smoothie or a freshly extracted (i.e. home-made) fruit or veggie juice help a lot too.

You can try eating an apple. Apples naturally have caffeine in them :)

I feel you! Try instead snacking on healthy options, like raw vegetables and fruits, and plain yogurt. You can also make a big pot of green tea or herbal tisane (like using fresh tarragon) and sip it while working on your projects.
