how  can  i  avoid  not  to  eat  junkfood  specially  at  night?when  im  starved...you  think banana  is  good  even  at  night?

Nothing wrong with a banana, that's always a better choice than junk food, of course. Instead of having junk food, you can have a healthier snack like fruit or PLAIN yogurt, or a glass of low-fat milk. You can also try to drink water or unsweetened green tea. Or, take up a hobby or get to bed early!

Hi! The easiest exercise for losing fat in your belly is running. Crunches won't help unless you've lost the fat, and running will definitely help you lose it. Make sure you have a good running program with intervals. Here's one that I use:

55411

5 minutes walking

5 minutes wide strides

4 minutes power walking

1 minute sprint

1 minute sprint

Here's a great definition of interval training that I found on medicinenet.com :

Interval training is a method of training where you increase and decrease the intensity of your workout between aerobic and anaerobic training. Interval training in Sweden, where some say it originated, is known as fartlek training (Swedish for "speed play"). The protocol for interval training is to push your body past the aerobic threshold for a few moments and then return to your aerobic conditioning level with the objective of improving your performance (speed, strength, and endurance). The aerobic threshold is the intensity where your body switches from burning a greater percentage of fat to a greater percentage of carbohydrate and is generally 85% of your maximum heart rate (train below 85% and it's aerobic; train above 85% and it's anaerobic).

Interval training is not only good for your heart, but it keeps things interesting as well.

Enjoy!

Hi there!

I found out that there is no such thing as a "spot reduction", or losing fat in just one part of the body. If you have to lose the fat, you've got to lose 'em all!

In short, before you undergo specific exercises targeted to have a toned abdomen, you have to lose the layer of belly fat first.

You can do this through:

1.) a diet primarily composed of lean meats, fiber from fruits, vegetables and whole grains, and healthy fats from vegetable oils

2.) cardio exercises such as running, swimming, brisk walking at least 3 times a week.

When you notice that there's a significant decrease of belly fat, that'ts when you can do ab crunches to strengthen your abdominal muscles.

Definitely agree with interval training, as Jana said! I lost all of my weight through interval training, but with jump rope.
