Oh so that's it. I sometimes eat brunch especially when I wake up late in the morning. It is better than not having breakfast at all. I can't do my work and other morning activities well if I don't eat a hearty breakfast. Having brunches is a "cultural" pattern of eating (like European and european-colonized countries like ourselves having a merienda in the afternoon), but I don't consider it as a good meal patten when you are on a "diet". If you are used to having a brunch, it is fine, but it is not necessarily beneficial to skip or binge on food within 10 am-6 pm time frame. You will just feel starved and tired before 10 am and after 6 (especially if you still have activities after 6), and that drives your body to conserve more calories rather than burn them. It's best to stick to a regular eating pattern (having 3 square meals with a snack in between) or "fueling up" every after 4 hours in moderation so you won't alter how your body metabolizes the food you have eaten. |

Branch Meal is a combination of Breakfast and Lunch. Instead your breakfast schedule is at 6:00am and Lunch in 12:00 noon, you will eat at 10:00 am and no more food after 6:00 in the evening. Only pure water for the rest of the night. |

Hi Marikar! Can you elaborate what a "branch" meal plan is? :) |
