there are several good scar removers in the market.  unfortunately katialis isn't one of them.  it is marketed as a antibacterial soap/cream/ointment because it contains zinc oxide, salicylic acid and sulphur. these ingredients cannot remove scars.  it can help, to some extent, in lightening dark acne scars but it is better to consult a dermatologist first.

i would recommend dermatrix ultra.  it is a silicone based ointment i recommend to my patients for their surgical scars.  it works best when applied within a few weeks after the scab (langib) of the scar peels off.  it also works on old scars although treatment is more prolonged and it takes a little longer for you to notice any significant effect.  however if it is a keloid scar you are talking about, the best treatment is steroid injection because no amount of scar remover will treat it.
