What is your definition of Malnutrition?

When you say Malnutrition, what does it mean, is it caused by an improper or insufficient diet, or maybe an excessive intake of  nutrients?

"Malnutrition is a general term for a medical condition caused by an improper or insufficient diet." - wikipedia

so i think excessive intake of nutrients, maybe considered as malnutrition...

It's the lack of intake of nutrients needed in the body. Many people often misinterpret malnutrition as the state of being skinny. Truth is, malnutrition can be found both in skinny and obese people, as long as they don't have the essential nutrients needed in their body.
