how to get enough sleep

i really don't know what enough sleep is all about right now. for the past 7 years, i haven't experienced a good sleep yet! i will appreciate tips or advices. please! thanks!

I just discussed my own problems with insomnia in the other thread, but what helped me recently is NOT using my laptop in my bed. Try not to do any activity in your bed (even reading, using a laptop, studying, working, etc), so that you can condition your mind to simply relax and sleep once you're in bed.

If you drink too much coffee and tea, try to cut back, or don't drink any after 3 p.m. See if that helps you.

Exercising at night might also boost adrenalin levels...although when I exercised at night, I had no problem with going to sleep a few hours later.
