Why is it Tough to Quit Smoking?

One of the major withdrawal symptoms is fatigue, sleepiness and drowsiness. Nicotine constricts the blood vessels and hence stresses out the heart and ultimately the heart beat increases. When one quits smoking, the heart beat decreases thus slowing down the metabolism. This makes a person, tired, sleepy and lethargic. It is a good idea to take cat naps, going to bed earlier or drinking fruit juice or water. It is important to get sufficient rest.
