Thanksgiving.. what are you thankful for?

posted by janabanana on 15-11-2011 à 05:02

Thanksgiving this year will be celebrated on Nov. 22, 2011, Thursday. Regardless of whether or not we celebrate Thanksgiving, lets talk about what we are thankful for :)

I am thankful for:

  • the chance to start with a clean slate each day
  • my supportive and loving family
  • my soon to be husband who loves me for me
  • my friends who are always there for me and make me laugh when i need it the most

What are you thankful for?

I am very thankful that this year has been my strongest uear as far as weight-loss in concerned. Before, I used to drown myself in losing weight a minuscule amount of weight after one month that I would stop and forget about it. This year, even if I slipped up after one month, I was resilient to fight back and although I still have a long way to go before I reach my goal weight, the fact that I am still on this road is enough to be thankful for.

I am thankful for my family - who, even if they're not dieting, they were supportive enough not to laugh at me even if I look awful whenever I exercise, or when I have to measure and weigh my food before I eat it.

I am thankful to this wonderful man, who came into my life at first just to motivate and inspire me, but is now a very great boyfriend who loves me enough to push me into reaching my goals.

Most importantly, I am thankful to God for continuously guiding and blessing me, and to myself, for realizing that I could be a better person.

Having a great support system is the easiest way to achieve your goals :) The path to weight loss is a long and ardous one, but remember..what is usually the hardest to achieve is usually the most rewarding :)

Wow! 2011 has been quite the year, but I guess if there are a few things I can name, I am most thankful for:

1) Clean slates

2) The opportunity to work with people and empower them

3) My best friends

4) My job and everything I have to do for BelleToday

5) Family!

I am thankful most especially that God called me and He never grew tired of my failures and sins.

I am thankful to be part of God's family (Victory Christian Fellowship)

I am thankful now that I am able to minister to more people and to my very own family.

I am thankful that I finally found the contentment, security, love and joy that no lover or partner can give, but God.

I am thankful for my ANXA family - work becomes a playground with all of you around :)

I am thankful for the great opportunities I have now - I don't even have to worry about my future (Evrything is in God's hand and it' His business not mine :))

I am thankful for the few close people who really know me - though they seem so distant.
