I know a teenager aged fourteen weighing 200 lbs. is commonly normal in the country already its because people tend to forget to take care of their bodies . and that's what sucks so much . :(  and sad to say im on of those people and im fourteen and im 200 lbs . .

You dont know how it feels when people your age greatest problem is what to wear on their dates and which movie to see when their in the mall, to be honest i am full of self - esteem but i envy girls who are skinnier than me those girls who boys pile up by kilo meters i say to myself , when am i gonna be one of those girls , a girl that dosent have to worry what are the other sizes are available, a girl that people wont stare at while walking in the mall and a girl who dosen't have to deal with kids that tease them yes , Arghh i hate it so much when i wanna ride a jeepney and i see kids and i tell to myself here it comes BAANG . then the kidd would be all like " HHAHA , mataba mataba dabiana ayy panget " im lucky if a kid passes me and dosen't tease me and insult me .

but what i hate more is when there are gathering they would tell me "siguro pinabayaan ka sa refrigirator " im not a pig , they dont know how much it hurts hearing that .

I just hope this time , in attempting of loosing weight belletoday will be in my back and help me and guide me in being a better person , and not also only beletoday butthe woman community that supports the site :)

hello there, I just came across to this blog . I can relate very well to what is written in here. Me too, is struggling about losing weight. During college days, I am kindda chubby but i could maintain up my weight of 156 lbs. But after college, being exposed to working on field, I do lose my control in weight. Then one day, I just wake up and notice that I almost change all my ward robes into a more bigger sizes of clothes. It's really devastating to see my size small tshirts and can't wear it because, mmy t-shirt's size now is large..I begin to attend some gym sessions but due to some overtimes in the office and some errands to run before going to the gym, I set aside my motivation to start my conquest in losing weight. I hope that Belletoday will help me to boost out my confidence and give me more motivations.

hi sis. you know, i can also relate to you. i also had so much bad experience during my teen years. i can always remember my biggest frustration, fitting inside my clothes. its really tough since most Filipinos are really rude when it comes to weight issues.. my suggestion to you sis is to start your diet NOW! there is no other time than now. i know it will be very very very hard since its a lifestyle change but NEVER GIVE UP! Even if you feel that you are not losing weight, just continue. i for one is still struggling. i really hate it when i go for a walk or a work out and when i see someone they will say things to discourage me. instead of saying "nice work" they will say "eat lots of foods, you'll never lose weight".. arggghhhh.. it really pisses me.. and it hurts. they never realized how much discipline we need to do this. =)

so i suggest sis that start now. belletoday is really a good place to start your lifestyle change. all of us here are ready to support you all the way.. good luck and God bless! ♥

hi, I was just like you during my teens, though I didn't reach the 2oolbs in scale, still I have to struggle everyday. I know how you feel specially when you can't do anything or say anyhting to defend yourself from people laughing at you. I ahve my fair share of laughing monkeys too. but what I did, I strive hard to finish my studies and be excellent. Call it as compensation, yes bec I was helpless and it was the only thing they couldn't laugh about me..and now, I realize that they are(were) losers as well. they just channel their frustrations to other people bec they don't know how to handle theirs.they project their feelings to other to be relieved.

Dont let them mess you up!!

work hard to hit your goal, nothing is easy!!

believe and have faith in yourself!! do not let them determine the kind of person you are!!

Hi, Eshang, nice to have you here on BelleToday, and thank you for being so brave to share your feelings. I understand it must be tough for you to face these problems during your teenage years. But I commend you that you see yourself as being full of self-esteem. =)

Don't mind those other girls, and don't pay any mind to those tactless kids! I sadly notice that of many Filipino kids who like to say rude remarks about a person's weight. It just shows they're uneducated and don't have the proper upbringing.

Having respect in yourself and self-esteem is a good start. Have you talked to your family about your plans to lose weight? They should be willing to help you. I would actually advise that your parents would take you to see a doctor (an endocrinologist), as your situation may be related to a thyroid condition—I don't want you to be alarmed at all, but it may help to have a medical checkup before you start a weight loss program. =)

I hope to see you around. The BelleToday community and I are here to help you. =) Good luck!

Cheers,
Vic

Hi girl!  I read your post and I would like to help in motivating you to be able to attain your weight goal.  Being healthy and wanting to be thinner is not impossible as long as you put your heart into  it.  Not an overnight thing to achieve but hey just continue to workout...do it in small pacing and whichever is most convenient for you...just don't give up when people tease you that you won't make it or they tell you it would be so damn hard to really lose weight.  Take all those words as a challenge and motivation.  Some people will say negative stuff like why exercise when it is bettter to just eat and not worry about weight gain...I will tell you those people are the ones who doesn't care at all in their well being--healthwise.

Everyone regardless of age needs to exercise and be active because it helps us to be emotionally, physically, mentally and psychologically have a balance life.  I am rooting for you girl that you can do it like everyone were able to...just stay focus on your weight goal and believe that you will lose all those unwanted fats with hard work, determination, patience, and discipline.  Good luck to you...
