Pregnant women can perform this simple exercise to prepare for labor. You may have already heard about the famous Kegel exercise (pronounced que-jelle). They can strengthen the perineum, which is the muscle located between the vagina and anus. The muscles of the perineum are expected to descend during childbirth, the duration of the second stage of labor, when the mother must push to deliver the baby. Exercising these body parts regularly can be beneficial during delivery. These exercises can be done safely daily.
