Skating (whether on roller skates or in-line skates) is a fun sport that can work all the muscles of the body, including lower limbs (buttocks, thighs, calves, etc.). For a beginner, it takes about five days or a week of practice to successfully maintain balance.

It is obviously necessary to protect the parts of the body that are at most risk to injury, including the joints (knees and elbows first, and shoulders and ankles if possible). Wearing a helmet is also highly recommended. Choose smooth tracks without any obstacles, such as sewers or gutters. For maximum results, emphasize your weight on your legs and thighs.

Tips:
- 30 minutes at a steady pace at beginner level
- 60 minutes at a steady pace at intermediate level
- 90 minutes at a steady pace at advanced level
