Walking has a considerable advantage over other sports in that it can be practiced everywhere. It increases blood flow in the lower limbs, and it strengthens the body.

An hour of brisk walking (7 or 8 kph) allows you to lose between 400 and 700 calories, depending on the weight of the person. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and swing your arms naturally (without swaying) to make you speed up. This will also help your breathing, as the movements of the chest are amplified.

Tips::
- 3 sessions of non-stop 30 minute brisk walk per week at beginner level
- 3 sessions of non-stop 45 minute brisk walk per week at intermediate level
- Daily non-stop 45 minute brisk walks at advanced level

i do walk everyday for 30mins around my community area where the market is near and buy some of my daily meals...

my work every day is more of walking but until now my weight is still the same.walking is not enough to lose weight it just give you a condition.

I walk alone everyday for at least 45 min and have been doing this for 2years now but i guess walking is not enough to lose weight :(

i do brisk walking everyday with a combination of jogging...whew..it feels good then follow up with skipping rope initial of 50 counts then 5 reps ...its a good cardio exercises.

i do walking everyday and jogging on my way to church and it helped me a lot with my weight. Of course I do it together with the right food intake. I think that is the reason it worked for me.Thanks.

Walking and running every morning has become a part of my everyday routine even though i work, i spend 1 to 2 hours of it....i can't quit... i can't imagine myself at old age i can't walk anymore...im 23 and i'm preparing myself for my old age...

i go to gym twice or thrice a week and i do cardio exercise, 30mins... it helps a lot.... and good thing also i walk every day to work...... and balance diet... i eat 1 banana, 2 slices of bread and coffee at breakfast. i eat lunch with rice, and at dinner i eat apple or orange, bread and lots of water.....

everyday i do walking but im still chubby...i noticed my calves get bigger...anong exercise ang pwede kong gawin para lumiit sya..(pangit kasi parang legs ng lalaki)

walking is the way to go! just make sure to do some stretching as well..this will help you out as you progress

i did my walking this morning for 30 mins and another 20mins for stretching. my breakfast is a cup of coffee and 2 pandesal with fried egg. i hope my breakfast didnt offset my exercise...

good thing when i opened the page it was the comment of marnille that i saw first. pwede nga pala paikot-ikot lang sa house ang walking. i've been planning to do walking exercises again kaso panay ulan. gagawin ko sa house. i hope maging consistent na ako

whew! i walk only if i woke up early^^ im planning to walk everyday na.. i hope i can wake up early everyday
